Zambian in Perth
An amazing thing happened exactly a week ago today at about 5.30pm local time. I was on a bus on Great Eastern Highway heading out of Perth when we stopped at some lights alongside a white 4WD. The driver was right next to me and as I looked down at him he looked up at me. (This is not a love story, folks.) He was Caucasian and looked young, well 40ish. He was in a short sleeve khaki shirt with a large coloured Zambian flag and the word ZAMBIA below it on his right sleeve. I thought of opening my window to ask who? why? what? where? when? etc., but basically felt too inhibited to do so with the bus full of other passengers. I wonder who he was and why he was so attired and why he was here.
So to that gentleman, if you happen to be a member of the GNR who reads this notice board please do post a reply.
