Last sight of Zambia - Lusaka Airport - 1974
I'm enclosing a photo taken from the upstairs cocktail lounge at Lusaka Airport in June 1974. I was nearly arrested for taking it as or esteemed President Kenneth Kaunda was about to fly off somewhere, hence the traditional dancers and police on the roof...
That was my last sight of Zambia. I flew to Mauritius for three days and then here to Perth, Western Australia where I've lived ever since (apart from a couple of OS holidays).
