Lusaka from the Grain Tower
From Great North Road
Lusaka photos taken from the Grain Tower in 1955
Attached are six photos which I took from the Grain Tower close to the centre of Lusaka - wonder whether it is still there because judging from some of the photos appearing on the board from time to time I hardly recognise the place. Not surprising though as a lot of water has passed under the bridge since my day.
Anyway thought these might be of interest , but because I have scanned them from 35mm negs that have been tight rolled for 40 years plus some massaging was needed - results not too bad so hope screened quality will be acceptable.
I think I have got the sequence in the correct order - panning from the south (No1) through to the north (No6).
