Zambezi in Flood - 1968

From Great North Road

By Phillip Evans.

Zambezi in flood - photos were taken in the late 60's. This was the time that the Zambezi reach its highest flood level ever. The water pump station was flooded and Riverside drive completely closed off. Even the boat club moved its moorings.

The one of the HS748 over Victoria Falls belonging to the Zambian Air Force was taken by a Rhodesian Air Force aircraft.
